Kryptonite

In her latest single “Kryptonite,” Risha steps into a time capsule of her own creation with one of the last songs she wrote before starting conservatory; likening the her experiences of being unheard, misunderstood, and held to expectations for her life that are not her own to the mythical green mineral that is the sole weakness of DC comic hero Superman. This single is the first from an upcoming, currently untitled, album of songs written both before and during her conservatory years that highlight the struggle of having others’ expectations thrown upon you at the expense of your own happiness.
